After a very successful week filming in Anglesey, I would like to thank Doctor Izam for all his hospitality while our crew were battling with the elements of the weather.
The post production of White Beach Anglers documentary is almost at the conclusion and ready to be produced to broadcast, which we are all very excited about.
Once again Film Conversions of Ashton In Makerfield will have their footage broadcasted on national television.
Due to the success of our conversion of negative 16mm cine film to broadcast quality, the footage by Osi Rhys Osmond for the BBC Cultural Show which was aired on Saturday 3rd March 2012.
Once again we were delighted to see our footage on national TV.
Thank you to all our clients and I’ll keep you posted on the next filming session.

I would like to personally thank all our customers who have left their testimonials and the special customer who called this week with tears of joy as they were able to see their grandparents after 30 years.
We transfer all videos and cam tapes in our store in Ashton In Makerfield and we love all the jobs we do for our customers but the cine film has the magical touch and with our passion and patience we can produce something truly fantastic and when a customer calls and is crying on the phone we know all the hours of cleaning and editing has been really worth while.

70th Birthday.
Film Conversions would like to wish Lawrence Feldman a wonderful 70th Birthday.
When we arrived for the video shoot, Lawrence didn't know anything about his surprise party. He was so emotional and overwhelmed. All the guests had a wonderful time, chatting about old times and reminiscing all their childhood memories.
We have created a DVD that Lawrence will never forget. Capturing all the funny gossip, all the jokes and the cutting of your hand made cake. (which I might add was out of this world!!!)

Well better late than never... Film Conversions, Ashton's Video, Cine to DVD specialist was at the Blackpool Savoy Hotel, Film Festival. Once again the show went down a treat!!!
Buyers and sellers came from as far as Germany to wheel and deal in all the vintage 16mm cine film. It was a collector’s heaven. Even if you didn’t want to make a purchase, the aroma of freshly ground coffee piping through the call from the luxurious coffee shop was enough to make you want to relax and enjoy the ambiance of the grand hall full with all the nostalgic film memories.
We had a great day. We met some old friends and met some now ones.
Film Conversions once again made a mark on the map, offering quality and an unbeatable film conversion service now through out Europe. We made contact with clients from Bamberg and Heidelberg.

We have introduced a new customer from South Africa this week. Having a UPS delivery service at our studio doors dropping off a fantastic batch of 16mm film to be converted.
Our team at Film Conversions are so excited to start to work on this project it seems like Christmas all over again.

Well another exciting day at Showtime, Film Conversions.
We had a new delivery of golden oldie movie title and TV show’s like, IVOR THE ENGINE, SORRY and TOMMY COOPER. Great classic’s from the 80’s.
Remember, Film Conversions and Showtime not only convert video to DVD, and all your precious memories to disc but we can find all those hard to find movie title and TV show’s all on region 2 (UK format) brand new and factory sealed.

Great start to 2010
Well the year has started off with a amazing feedback from all our customers. Film Conversions, Ashton's Premier video to DVD, cine to DVD service has yet once again been talk of the town.
With brand new services within the entertainment world, we are very pleased to welcome JJD Promotions and the success of one of our team, James Balme. James is now a presenter on Warrington TV.
Film Conversions, Video to DVD service has now got clients from Spain!!! A lady who was on holiday in the summer of 2009 in the Wigan area was so impressed with our studio and work that we were doing for another customer, Mrs Rosemary made a special journey from Spain to Film Conversions with a case full of Video's of the family memories. So a huge thank you to the Rosemary family.
Remember no job is to big or to small, no matter if it's cine film, video film, all camcorder tapes, memory cards, holidays, weddings, photo's, slides we can put all your memories on to DVD. Saved forever!!!

Well, Farnworth Film Fair went down fantastic. Thank you to all that visited and for all your custom and support.
At the show you could find hundreds of original films dating from the 1920’s and film memorabilia bursting out of every corner.
At the Auction, buyers walked away with bags and trolley full’s of amazing bargains from as little as a £1 !!!
A truly great day.....
